Man tased after allegedly assaulting wife

CHICKASHA —

A man accused of stalking his wife was shocked with a Taser by a Chickasha Police Officer after refusing to comply with the officer's orders on Sept. 5.

CPD Officer David Harper-Head responded to a call of physical domestic violence at Midwestern Loan Company. An employee of the business, Ryan Brooks, told Harper-Head the subjects involved in the disturbance were in a car in the parking lot, an incident report reads.

Harper-Head approached the vehicle, where he found a female in the passenger's seat and male in the driver's seat.

"| asked the woman to step over to me," Harper-Head detailed in the report. "She did as requested and I then saw the male exit the car from the driver's side. After the male exited he pointed into a silver car, which was in the next spot over from the PT Cruiser (his car). He said something that I could not discern. He then began walking toward me. I asked him to step to the right  and | pointed where I wanted him to go. He did not listen and began walking up behind me and said, 'really.'  I told him 'yeah really.' He Continued to walk toward me and | told him he was going to need to start listening to me. He then turned around and stepped to the right."

Harper-Head identified the female as Lenny Jolley and the male as Christopher Jolley.

While speaking to Lenny, Harper-Head said Christopher started walking away to the west.

"I told him to 'stop,' but he did not stop," Harper-Head wrote. "He entered the Empire Finance business. | followed after him and grabbed the door  to open it. Christopher had a hold of the door on the other side and I had to jerk the door open. Once the door was open I told Christopher to 'face away.'"
