Rush Springs City Clerk charged with embezzlement

RUSH SPRINGS — The city clerk of Rush Springs has been charged with felony embezzlement after he was arrested Thursday evening.

John David Morrow faces one count of embezzlement stemming from an investigation by the District Attorney's Task Force. A preliminary hearing has been set for April 9, according to court records.

This is not the first time Morrow has had a brush with the law. Last August, he was arrested for aggravated DUI and booked into Grady County Jail.
