CPD investigating rape report

CHICKASHA —

The Chickasha Police Department is investigating a report of rape that allegedly took place during the first week of October in the 900 block of Kansas Avenue.

"The victim said she was drugged and she knows the person she's accusing," said Chickasha Police Chief Eddie Adamson.

A suspect has been named in the case, but no arrests have been made. Adamson said the victim told officers the incident took place at the house where she was staying.

More on this story as it develops.
