Justice awards contract for Tuttle road repair

— State Sen. Ron Justice (R-Chickasha) awarded a $1.9 million contract to improve roads in Grady County to Schwarz Paving Company this month.

The project will include grading roads, modifying the current drainage system, resurfacing half a mile of Cimarron Road starting at SH-37 and going into Tuttle, and the installation of flashing school zone and crosswalk signs, according to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.

State Rep. Leslie Osborn (R-Tuttle) said Schwarz Paving Company from Oklahoma City was the lowest of two bidders for the contract.

The project is expected to be complete seven months after construction begins.
