Author Karen Kay Knauss will speak about Oklahoma history through the art of poetry at The Poetry of Oklahoma Lecture Series at 12:30 p.m. at OKC Community College in College Union Room 3.

The Chickasha Antique Auto Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at the Rock Island Depot.

Chris Jordan will have his senior recital at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow in the USAO Alumni Chapel.

USAO will have a student recital tomorrow at 12 p.m. in Davis Hall Room 124.

Tomorrow's Headlines

Two men were charged with conspiracy and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute by the District Six Task Force, Drug Enforcement Agency, Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Grady County Sheriff's Office. The case was adopted by the U.S. Attorney's Office last week and is expected see the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma later this week.

A routine traffic stop took a dramatic turn Saturday when a man with a revoked drivers license and no insurance was also allegedly found to have meth on him.

A man was arrested for allegedly attempting to stay in an abandoned home without permission on Saturday.

Driving on 9th Street and Country Club became slightly dangerous when an allegedly intoxicated man continued to drive, evading arrest, and was argumentative with officers.

Weather and safety procedures were the subject of the day's Grady County Commissioners Meeting. The skies look cloudy later this week but wildfire danger could be on the rise, Dale Thompson, Grady County Emergency Management Director, said.
