A&E expands beyond Chickasha location

CHICKASHA — A&E Grill will soon be adding another location in Mustang, Okla.

The new restaurent will be able to accommodate large groups and banquets, Mitch Shilling, owner of the Mustang location, said.

A&E looked at Newcastle and small metro towns surrounding Oklahoma City before deciding on Mustang. Shilling said he spent some time in Mustang and liked the community.

Trent said A&E in Chickasha sees a lot of business from Mustang and its surrounding areas.

The restaurant will be serving the same menu items, Kyle Trent, assistant general manager said.

The taste in decor will carry the same flavor, a bluesy musical theme featuring walls decorated with guitars and other instruments.

The Mustang restaurant has a patio which overlooks a golf course and an outdoor bar.

A&E plans to open the new location in mid to late September.

The Chickasha A&E is owned and operated by Aaron and Robin Warren. Shilling said that Robin will be using her talents for training staff at the Mustang location.

A&E thanked Tim Koehler at Chickasha First National Bank for believing in A&E and teaming with their staff to help the restaurant expand.
