Blog: Barresi stops by Am-Po Schools

— I would like to send a brief thanks to State Superintendent Janet Barresi for taking the time to visit with Grady County school administrators on Feb. 15 at Am-Po Schools.

As a journalist, I was impressed with her down-to-Earth demeanor and willingness to answer questions from both the administrators and students representing FFA, FCCLA and TSA.

The students: Madison Pfeifley, Lydia Blaine, Dalton Chaney and Stetson Clawson are also to be commended for their poise and professionalism.

Finally, I thought that the Grady County school administrators, principals, teachers and personnel asked the state superintendent some very good questions that reflected their interest in our county's students.
