The Chickasha High School swim team finished second in both the boys and girls competitions Monday in the Chicks' second meet of the season at the USAO pool.
Shawnee won the overall title on both sides. The Shawnee girls scored 144 points, with Chickasha following at 118. Byng had 22, Bethel had 18 and Seminole had 12.
On the boys side, Shawnee scored 192, and Chickasha trailed with 111. Tecumseh scored 13 and Byng scored 10.
Chickasha had three individual winners. Caitlin Critchfield won the 100-meter butterfly, Russell Jobe won the 100-meter freestyle, and Andrew Ross won the 400-meter freestyle.
Other indivudual finishers: Dale Courtney placed second in the 400-meter freestyle. Kristen Kern placed second in the 100-meter butterfly. Nils Michael placed second in the 200-meter freestyle. Madison Rivas placed second in the 400-meter freestyle.
Hailie Luther finished third in the 200-meter freestyle. Rivas finished third in the 50-meter freestyle. Nathan Stewart placed third in the 200-meter freestyle.
Kylie Foster placed fourth in the 400-meter freestyle, and fifth in the 100-meter backstroke. Kale Nye finished fifth in the 100-meter freestyle.
In relays, the girls 200-meter medley relay team of Foster, Bryan, Critchfield and Rivas placed second.
The boys 400-meter freestyle relay team of Jobe, Michael, John Allen and Stewart placed second.
The boys 200-meter medley and 200-meter freestyle relay team of Ross, Nye, Jobe and Courtney placed third in both races.
The girls 200-meter freestyle and 400-meter freestyle relate team of Kern, Ashli Taylor, Greta Crowl and Luther placed 3rd in the 200 and second in the 400-meter freestyle relays.
The boys 200-meter freestyle relay team of Allen, Michael, Stewart and Bryan Luther place fifth.
Chickasha's next swim meet is scheduled for 4 p.m Thursday at USAO against Mustang and Putnam City West.
