Chickasha businesses report string of burglaries

CHICKASHA —

A night of crime resulted in reports of burglaries at three Chickasha businesses Friday morning.

Chickasha Police Department officers believe the burglaries of Royal Filter, Livingston Machinery and Chickasha Manufacturing -- all located in the same general area on South Fourth Street -- are connected. The crimes were discovered by employees early Friday morning, according to a CPD release. 

The investigation into the burglaries and what all was taken is ongoing, but CPD is seeking information from the public. Tips can be called in to Chickasha Police at (405)222-6050, or Crimestoppers at (405) 222-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be sent via text message to CRIMES (274-637) using the keyword "Chicktip."
