CHICKASHA — The General Manager for the Chickasha Best Western announced the hotel will be receiving a face lift and expansion soon.

"We plan to start on the back building with some exterior concrete and sidewalk work this weekend. And then work our way forward toward the lobby and restaurant area of the hotel," said General Manager Mandy Hagedorn.

The back building's rooms have all been renovated and some of the main building's rooms too, but all will receive new beds, linens, TV's, headboard and footboards, furniture, pictures, and carpet.

"I am very excited about the first phase of the renovation and can't wait for the second phase expansion of the restaurant and lounge area... and the front lobby and entryway will be completely overhauled. The front entry drive will be expanded to allow two cars to pull in, and several other things," said Hagedorn.

The pool and atrium area will also see the like of contractors as well she said as well as some security upgrades.

The first phase is expected to cost approximately $250,000 to $300,000.
