CHICKASHA —

A 15-year old has been charged with assault and battery against a school employee after an altercation at Chickasha High School.

Tuesday morning, school officials were attempting to stop a fight between two boys in a high school bathroom, according to a Chickasha Police Department report. During the scuffle, the 15-year-old allegedly struck Vice Principal Rhonda Beth Snow in the face, causing a laceration that required medical attention.

The altercation was eventually stopped. Chickasha police that responded to the call determined a criminal charge would be placed on the juvenile after conducting an investigation. The boy is currently with his legal guardian while waiting to go before an Office of Juvenile Affairs court hearing.
