Tigers slash Little Axe

Tuttle improved their record to 4-1 Friday night after an absolute pummeling of the Little Axe Indians 56-0.

The Tigers played well on both sides of the ball forcing the Indians into multiple punting situations that results in good field position for Tuttle.

Running Back Jesse Gregory led the Tigers offensively with 206 rushing yards and three touch downs.

Quarterback Jett Jobb relied on play-action passes, connecting with several of his receivers for multiple touch downs.

Little Axe was unable to motivate its offense, falling to 2-3 on the season and only moving the ball past the 50-yard line once.

Tuttle's defense kept pressure on The Indians with Jason Biddy sacking Little Axe's quarterback four times.

Tuttle will take on Bridge Creek next week in a district game at 7:30 p.m.

Bridge Creek suffered a harsh defeat at the hands of defending the 3A state champion Blanchard Lions on Friday.
