Late touchdown gives Chicks narrow win

CACHE — The Fightin’ Chicks will have a much happier homecoming next week after they topped Cache on the road 25-24 in a game that was not for the faint of heart.

A last-gasp touchdown with just over two minutes to go in the game took Chickasha ahead of the Bulldogs before an interception on their ensuing drive let the visitors see out the game. Cade Morris ran 16 times for about 125 yards and for all four touchdowns to help the Fightin’ Chicks to a 2-1 record ahead of their first district game next week.

Cache quarterback Judah Sweat had a hand in four touchdowns, throwing for three in the first half alone while running one in himself in the fourth quarter.
