Stilwell appoints JT Cobble as head coach

CHICKASHA —

Stilwell High School has announced Chickasha offensive coordinator JT Cobble will become their head football coach effective this fall.

Cobble, son of Fightin' Chicks head coach and Hall of Fame inductee Tom Cobble, will join the Indians after a 4-6 (3-4) 2013 season under Jeff Brown. Stilwell has conducted a series of interviews with Cobble over the last two weeks and made the announcement official on Wednesday.

Cobble has coached alongside his father for 13 years now. On top of a new offensive coordinator, Tom Cobble said Chickasha has been conducting interviews for an offensivel line coach and a ninth grade coach in the offesason.
