Tuttle piles on points to top Bobcats

While chasing district leading Blanchard, Tuttle took a big step toward the role of challenger with a whopping 49-0 win over Bridge Creek.

Quarterback Jett Jobe passed for two touchdowns and only had one go incomplete as the Tigers ran riot over district rivals Bridge Creek. The Bobcats had only recently come off a similarly tough game against Blanchard, and this week it didn't get uneasier for them.

The Tigers began their rout early. On only the first play of the game, running back Jesse Gregory ran all of 62-yards for the touchdown in a sign of things to come. Bridge Creek could only answer with five yards of offense and had to punt. After getting the first down, Morgan Neal took a run up the middle 36-yards to double Tuttle's lead.

The Bobcats did get a nice return, but the Tigers' linebacker Jason Biddy's tackle forced a fumble recovered by Tuttle on the Bobcat 35-yard. Tuttle went to the air for a couple of first downs to get inside the red zone, and Gregory ran 16-yards for his second touchdown of the game.

Tuttle's defense went back to work when Montana Clark picked off a pass to set up the short field. Neal ran the three yards for another touchdown, and Tuttle was up 35-0 with just one quarter played.

The Tigers' next touchdown came on a play-action pass to Tanner Brannon for 21-yards. After another interception, Dan Dixon caught a 17-yard pass to put Tuttle 49-0.

In the second half, Tuttle put in a few of their youngsters and second-stringers. Biddy was still a force to be reckoned with on defense, picking up two sacks in the third quarter.

In at running back, Braden Workman got to work recording about 50-yards. Mason Harvell also got involved in the running game with about 25 yards. But, the scoring suddenly stopped as the clock kept running.
