Seven first-place medals for CMS track

— The Chickasha Middle School track team took home seven first-place medals in Tuesday's Comanche meet, and freshman Kyle McNatt earned three of them.

McNatt was first in the long jump, 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash.

The seventh grade boys 4x200 meter relay team of Tristian Hopgood, Larry Abram, Jamiel Finley and Deon Autobo finished first.

Hopgood won the seventh grade boys 100-meter dash.

Tamia Murry was first in the seventh grade girls long jump, and LaDiedra Love won the eighth grade girls shot put throw.

Placing second on Monday were Deon Autobo in the 110-meter hurdles, Abram in the 100-meter dash, Autobo in the 400-meter race, Abram in the 200-meter dash and Clayton Mosley in the eighth grade discus throw.

The seventh/eighth grade girls 4x100 relay team of Tamia Murry, Anna Bishop, Ashlyn Morris and Shantel Hayden was third in Comanche.

Jadyn Filer finished third in the seventh grade girls 100-meter hurdles.

Hayden won the eighth grade girls long jump.

Murry was fourth in the seventh grade girls 200-meter race.

Placing fifth were Ashlyn Morris in the seventh grade girls 100 meter dash and Clayton Mosley in the eighth grade boys shot put.

"The kids have been working really hard during the season and getting ready for the conference meet in a couple of weeks," coach Larry Coley said.

The middle school Chicks will compete in the Friend meet on Friday at the CHS track.
