Slow start downs Lady Chicks

Golightly found herself at the foul line often in the third quarter, but she made it count. She made 5-of-6 foul shots in the second half to help Chickasha chip away at the Deer Creek lead. But for every point that went away, Deer Creek pulled a few back. Scheffler sank her second three of the game and almost had a third as the buzzer sounded, but her feet were just a big too close. It still had the Lady Antlers up by seven after three quarters.

That was extended going into the fourth. Bayli Blanchard got going with a few long-range jumpers, and that saw Deer Creek out. She finished the game with eight points.
