The Chickasha High School freshman basketball teams both beat El Reno on Thursday night.
The Fightin' Chicks won their game 59-53.
Brandon Shumway led the team with 17 points, and was closely followed by Taray Thomas (15) and Chris Nottingham (14).
Keenan Richardson scored six points, Colton Christian scored four points, and Chris Wilson scored three points.
The Lady Chicks blew out the Lady Indians, 42-21.
The Chickasha girls only allowed four points in the first half.
Hanna Fergason scored 12 points to lead the team.
Taylor Lessig and Kelsi Gore scored eight points each.
Amanda Bradford, Lucia Avila and Haylee Herrera scored four points each, and McKenzie Stalnaker scored two.
The freshman teams will end their regular season on Feb. 11 against Western Heights. The boys will play on the road and the girls will play at home, both games starting at 7 p.m.
The Chickasha Middle School eighth grade girls basketball team beat El Reno 25-8.
Dayanna Daniels, Jaycie Brown and Addisyn Chambers scored five points each.
Savannah Gallegos scored four points. Keeley Cauthen, Meredith Noland and Ava Hauser scored two points each.
The eighth grade boys lost 54-28 to El Reno. Logan Woodard led the way with 10 points.
"We were down six at half, couldn't make the comeback happen," head coach Dace Lemieux said. "Gave up way too many uncontested 3-point shots and the game got out of hand."
The Chickasha 7th grade boys lost 40-14.
Grady McKnight and Carlos Pando were the team leaders with four points each.
Larry Abram, Isaac Cantu and Peyton Young scored two points each.
"The kids played better than Monday night and were doing well until the middle of the third quarter when they picked up the pressure and got some easy layups," head coach Allen Coley said.
The middle school teams will end their season against Western Heights. The girls play at home and the boys are on the road, starting at 5 p.m.
