OKLAHOMA CITY — The Amber-Pocasset High School baseball team lost to Rattan in the state championship game Saturday afternoon at Palmer Field in Oklahoma City, downed by some late home runs by the Rams.
The Panthers lost 5-2, and must settle for 2nd place after an impressive playoff run that included district and regional championships, and a 25-6 record.
Amber-Pocasset took an early 2-0 lead, scoring one run in each of the first two innings. Rattan tied it up with a two-run inning later on, and took control with two home runs in the top of the seventh inning.
