CHS beats rain en route to MacArthur rout

Shumway did it again in the fourth, this time getting 2 RBI off another shot to right. That was on the tail end of a five-run inning, started by Tresjon Davis’ RBI single to bring in Bush.

That meant Lawton-Mac had to put together more than three runs in the top of the fifth to prevent the run-rule, and considering they hadn’t had more than three at bats in the previous four, it was a big ask. They did get one on, but a 6-4-3 double play ended any hope.
