Ninnekah boys, girls win in Harding

NINNEKAH —

Ninnekah is underway in basketball and spent the weekend competing in the Harding Festival.

The boys split their weekend games, losing to hosts Harding Prep 77-40 before topping Harding FA 49-44. The girls went 2-0 with a narrow 56-53 victory over Harding Prep before easily disposing of Harding FA 61-11.

Blake Daggs produced standout performances for the Owls in both games, scoring 14 points and grabbing 15 rebounds against Harding Prep before putting up similar numbers against Harding FA. Cheyenne Morris had 24 points and nine rebounds against Harding Prep for the Lady Owls, while grabbing 12 points against Harding FA.
