Golightly doubles up as Lady Chicks cruise to second win

OKLAHOMA CITY —

It was twice as nice for the Chickasha girls basketball team on Thursday as they recorded their second win of the still young season over Putnam City West by a score of 49-27.

Putting a quiet start on the first day of the season-opening Millwood tournament behind her, Dominique Golightly recorded a double-double against PC West with 13 points and 16 rebounds. Senior Alex Stewart led the way once again with 22 points, while Jacklyn Ramos put in six points to go with her five assists.

The 2-0 start is just what the eighth ranked Lady Chicks need after a delayed start to the season. They open their home schedule with a Pink Out game on Monday against Elgin.
