Two Grady County wrestlers nationally ranked

— Two Grady County wrestlers have been ranked nationally ranked in their respective weight classes, according to the Wrestling Insider News Magazine 2012-13 preseason rankings.

Tuttle High School senior Zach Beard was ranked as the No. 4 wrestler in the nation at 182 pounds. Beard won an individual state title in 2011-12 at 170 pounds for a Tigers team that won the team state championship and the Dual State championship in class 4A. He was 42-0 last season.

Chickasha High School senior Jacoby Brown was ranked No. 15 in the 220 pound weight class. Brown won his first state championship in 2011-12 after being a runner-up the year before, and has a chance to become Chickasha’s first two-time state champion this season. Brown was 40-0 last season.
