The Rush Springs Redskins dropped their fourth game of the season at home Tuesday night against Sterling 7-3. Adapting to conditions, Rush Springs and Sterling moved the game which had been scheduled in Sterling over to Rush Springs, whose field was in playing condition after the rains.

The game was scheduled to go five innings, but was dragged over into a decisive extra frame. A two-out rally moved Sterling runners across the plate, with the exclamation point coming off a three-run homer to round out scoring. Rush Springs went in order, and now rests at 2-4 on the season. The Redskins take the weekend off before traveling to play Comanche on Tuesday night. Trent Parrish threw a complete game for the Redskins. He was able to hold Sterling scoreless through three innings, but was unable to hold SHS off in the end.
