The Ninnekah Lady Owls enter tonight's game against the Central High Lady Bronchos with some confidence. Ninnekah enters the game as winners of two consecutive games after losing the season opener to Amber-Pocasset. They are 2-1 on the season.

Ninnekah picked up its first win of the season against Geronimo last week. The Lady Owls defeated their opponent by 10, 49-39.

The game was close in the first half as both teams scored 11 points in the first quarter. Ninnekah led 19-16 at halftime.

It was the third quarter where the Lady Owls took control. They outscored Geronimo 18-3 in the third eight minutes of the game. The quarter allowed Ninnekah to be outscored by eight in the fourth and still win by double digits.

Ninnekah had advantages in fast-break points, points off turnovers and points in the paint.

The game marked another one where Kaylee Black reached double figures for the Lady Owls. She finished the game with 12 points and scored 11 against Amber-Pocasset..

The Lady Owls followed up their win over Geronimo with a dominant win over Cement.

As for the boys, they enter tonight looking for their first win of the season. Ninnekah has lost to Amber-Pocasset, Geronimo and Cement this season.

The game against Geronimo was close with Ninnekah falling by four, 49-45. 

The game was close throughout. Ninnekah pulled to within two at the end of the third after trailing by eight at halftime.

The Owls finished with one player in double figures. That was Jett Berry. He finished with 13 points, shooting 4 of 12 from the field.

Tyler Hill led the Owls with 10 rebounds.
