Former CHS and current USAO coach Jimmy Hampton is bringing some elite women’s soccer to Chickasha Saturday night.

Hampton and his unbeaten Oklahoma Alliance FC of the Women’s Premier Soccer League will be hosting a home match with second-place Houston South Select at Chickasha High School on Saturday, July 12, at 6 p.m.

The WPSL is an eleven-year-old league based in Sacramento, CA, with 51 teams playing in eight divisions nation-wide. Former WPSL players include Julie Foudy, Brandi Chastain, Kristine Lilly and Amy Wambach.

Alliance features two members of the U-18 National team, Caitlin Mooney and Hampton’s daughter Dria, and former Lady Chick and UCO freshman Kelsey Springstead.

Tickets for the event are $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children and free for children under five. Part of the gate proceeds will be donated towards a memorial for Craig Meyers, who played for Hampton at Chickasha.

The CHS Soccer Booster Club will have the concession stand open with all proceeds going to the high school team.
