CHICKASHA -Chickasha High School is proud to announce selection of members of the CHS Varsity and Junior Varsity Pom Squad for the 2008-09 school year.

The members of the Varsity Pom Squad are: Christina Allen, Emily Baker, Heather Bumpas, Mallory Dyer, Morgan Fundereburk, Mallory Hanson, Emily Holt, Rayghan Hooper, Molly Myers, Olivia Noland, Talley Noland, Elizabeth Pittman and Hannah Teague.

The members of the Junior Varsity Pom Squad are: Kristen Wendler, Unique Guest, Jordan White, Dana Rose, Courtney Aycox, Elizabeth Peek and Kailea Hightower.

The coach for the Varsity Squad is Jeanie Lee and Deanna Bumpas is the coach for the junior varsity squad. Choreographers for the CHS Pom squads are Jennifer Aldridge and Brittany Wade.

The Pom Chicks will be working out as well as holding fund raising activities this summer in preparation for summer pom camps and next fall's football season.

On Saturday, May 17, the Pom Chicks will host a fundraising Baked Potato dinner at the Crazy 8 Cafe in Chickasha. The supper will run from 5-7pm and will include the famous Crazy 8 baked potatoes, homemade desert and drink. Tickets for the event are $10.00 each and may be purchased from any varsity or junior varsity Pom Chicks or by phoning Marilyn Holt, Pom Parent Treasurer, at 224-1169. The Baked Potato dinner will include dine-in, take-out as well as curb-side pick-up service.

The dinner fundraiser will assist with expenses for Pom Camp to be held at OSU in June.
