Don Ray Mink

— Funeral for Don Ray Mink, 66, Cement will be at 2:30 PM Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at the Cement School Auditorium with Rev. Mark Carpenter officiating.

Mr. Mink died Saturday, October 5, 2013 in Chickasha.

Burial with military honors will be at Cement Cemetery under the direction of Becker-Rabon Cement Chapel.

He was born March 29, 1947 in Chickasha to Henry Willis “Jack” and Delia Sarah (Gamble) Mink.  He married Gayle Barnhart on September 17, 1965 at England Air Force Base, Louisiana.  She died October 15, 2003.  He married Linda K. Jackson on April 21, 2006 in Lawton.  Mr. Mink served four years in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.  He then worked in the oil fields until he retired.  He was also a retired volunteer fireman and was a little league coach in Cement for many years.

Survivors include his wife, of the home, two sons, Tommy Mink and his wife Naomi, Cement and Brandon James Jackson, of the home, three daughters and their spouses, Victoria and Mike Pierce, Cement, Delia Davenport, Clinton and Melinda and Justin Wyatt, Eakly, two step sons, Shawn Jackson, Pennsylvania and Larry Jackson and his wife Tracy, Newark, Texas, seventeen grandchildren, one great grandson, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Ina Mink and Jack and Kay Mink, five sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna Sealy, Jane and Lawrence Smiley, Sandy and Clyde Cogburn, Helen and Buddy Scribner and Brenda Stephens and numerous, nieces, nephews and other family.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, parents and three brothers, Clifford Mink, Ronald Mink and Donald Mink.
