— Ronnie Wayne Lindsay, 59, left this world to be with his father and grandson in heaven on June 1, 2013. Ronnie worked for Samson Resources for 25 years and leaves many friends in the oilfield. Ronnie lived his life for his family and spent many hours thinking up ways to make them smile.  From the funny way he sang Happy Birthday to his Mommy and Daddy to the unique birthday gifts he always came up with that were guaranteed to bring a smile to everyone’s face. He will be remembered for the many selfless things he did to help others, who were less fortunate. He was the Dad that wagged all the kids to Six Flags, to the movies and to the races. He spent many years coaching girls’ softball and took joy in playing Santa Claus at Christmas so he could bring joy to the children and adults alike. Ronnie was an avid cook and enjoyed cooking for his family, friends and for the Goldsby Baptist Church kids at Falls Creek Church Camp.

Ronnie is survived by his Mother Bernice Lindsay of Shawnee, one sister Paula Simmons of Bethany, two Brothers Harold Lindsay Jr. and wife Angela of Bethel, Garold Lindsay and wife Ronda of Shawnee, two daughters Kandace Lindsay and Cara Lindsay of Chickasha, one son Kyle Hankins of Chickasha and four Grandchildren, LindsayAnn Doughty, Maddison, Allison and Sean Capron, and many other family members and friends.

He is proceeded in death by his Father Harold Wayne Lindsay Sr. and Grandson Derick Justice Doughty.

Services will be held at Blackburn Chapel Baptist Church, 36305 Lake Road, Bethel, OK on Wednesday, June 5th at 2:00 p.m.
