Bertha June Wilmott Feild, age 86, of Norborne, Missouri. formerly of Garden City, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013, peacefully, at the home of her son, Stephen, in Norborne.

Bertha was born June 15, 1926, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Robert Patterson and Bertha Jane (Weaver) Wilmott.

She married Frank Clarence Feild on July 25, 1945, in Troy, Kansas, and was the mother of two sons, Calvin and Stephen.

She was a lifelong farm wife, enjoying the outdoors, raising flowers, cooking for her family, sewing, doing embroidery work and oil painting.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and St. Anne Altar Society, Norborne.

Bertha is survived by her two sons, Calvin Feild and wife, Judith, of Chickasha, Oklahoma and Stephen Feild and wife, Elena, of Norborne; one sister, Mollie Thompson, of Arvada, Colorado; seven grandchildren: Christie (Patrick) Kern, Patrick (Julia) Feild, Brian Feild, Erik (Stephanie) Feild, Matthew (Leah) Feild, Melissa (Cameron) Christiansen, and Dolores Feild; 12 great-grandchildren; many nephews, nieces and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, Robert Wilmott and Howard Wilmott; and two sisters, May Rathbun and Helen Stevens.

Services were held Friday, April 26, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Norborne, officiated by Father Ken Crique.
