Robb Wayne Hayes of Newcastle, was born in Kansas City, Kan. to Robert W. Hayes and Norma Maxine Hayes on April 12, 1955 and died June 17, 2013.

After his brother and sister were born, the family eventually settled in Chickasha. Robb graduated from Chickasha High School in 1973 and earned a degree in Sociology from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.

After graduation, Robb married his high school sweetheart, Donna Kay (Newman) Hayes. The couple moved to Newcastle,  where they raised their son and daughter and. Robb worked for 32 years as a Human Resources Manager for the State of Oklahoma until his retirement in 2011. Robb was also a passionate guitar player. Robb played with several rock bands including Victoria Vein and the Thunderpunks and Debris. As a member of Debris, Robb was inducted into the Oklahoma Historical Society.

Robb is survived by his wife of 42 years, Donna Hayes; his son, John Dylan Hayes; his daughter, Angela Hayes, and her husband, Phillip; his brother, Todd Hayes, and his daughters, Alyvia and Jayleen; his sister, Cassandra Hayes, and her daughter, Cathleen.

Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 28th, 4 p.m. at McRay Funeral Home in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
