Funeral services for Shirley Ann Dale Graves, 73, of Chickasha will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Ninnekah with Mike McReynolds officiating.

Shirley Ann Dale Graves was born in Hobart on Feb. 2, 1939, to Lloyd Jasper Dale and Dorothy Mae (White) Dale.  Heaven’s gates welcomed her home on July 22, 2012.

She began her formal education in Gotebo, until the seventh grade at which time her family moved to Chickasha.  She graduated in 1957 from Chickasha High School.

Shirley and W.A. Graves were married on Feb. 24, 1957.  W.A. served in the Air Force for 24 years.  The family moved while W.A. served.  Shirley served her Lord as a witness, Sunday School teacher, VBS worker and prayer warrior wherever her family was stationed for over 60 years.  She was always active in her local church family.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ninnekah for 32 years and active until her illness prevented her from physically serving her Lord.  She loved to read magazines and children’s literature, but the Bible was her favorite book.  W.A. read Scripture every morning to her for the past two years so she could hear God’s Word.

Shirley was a caring, supportive wife for 55 and and a half years.  She was a loving, compassionate mother providing lifelong advice.  Nana encouraged each grandchild with her godly instruction and example.  Her great-grandchildren received consistent happy birthday wishes and colorful storytelling.

She was preceded in death by:  both parents and one infant daughter.

Survivors include:  husband, William A. ‘Bill’ Graves of the home; three children, Charlotte Renee Graves Townzen and husband Douglas of The Colony, Texas; Gregory Dean Graves of Gould, Colo.; and Stacey Laine Graves Deal Hood and husband Dennie of Chickasha; eight grandchildren, Dionne and Hank Storm of Itasca, Texas, Kaycie and Jeff Skinner of Kingfisher, David and Danyeil Townzen of Anchorage, Alaska, Bron Deal of Frisco, Texas, Kristi Deal of Plano, Texas, Denae and Josh Haney of Austin, Texas, Kyle Graves of Gould, Colo. and Kiara Deal of Chickasha; five great-grandchildren, Jordan Farmer, Evan Farmer, Desiree Townzen, Rhyan Zimmerman and Milo Haney; sister, Beverly Jean Dale Richardson and family of Guthrie; step-dad, Victor Lee Wasson of Chickasha; and numerous extended family and countless life-long friends.

Interment will be in the Alex Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

    A come and go ‘Celebration of Life’ will be held for Jacqueline Ann Bohannon, 77, of Duncan, Oklahoma on Saturday, May 3rd at the Southern Oaks Church of Christ in Chickasha from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.  Jackie was born June 18, 1936 in Allen, Oklahoma to the parents of Harold and Bea Hammonds.  She passed from this life to be with her Lord on April 10, 2014 after a prolonged illness.

    Clifford Franklin Williams, 98, of Minco was born November 6, 1915 at Minco, Oklahoma to Claude Custer and Viola Pearl (Pettis) Williams. He died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at his home in Minco, Oklahoma.
        Services will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014, 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Minco. Reverend Bob Waitman and Reverend Bob Hines officiating. Burial, Evergreen Cemetery of Minco, Oklahoma under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco.

    Funeral for Reva Mae Burlison,88, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, in the Southern Oaks Church of Christ. Andy Lashley will officiate and Brian Johnson will assist.
    Reva Mae Royal was the 7th of 9 children, born to Walter Scott Royal Sr. and Nellie Speer Royal. She was born in rural Harmon County, near Hollis, Oklahoma on September 23, 1925. She passed away on April 16, 2014, in Chickasha.
