Edna Faye Snow

— Funeral service for Edna Faye Snow of Chickasha, OK will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at the Sevier Funeral Home Chapel.

Edna Faye Snow was born and raised in Wright City, OK to Hobart and Vertie Joyce Brooks on October 18, 1928.  She passed away on April 28, 2014 at her home in Chickasha, OK at the age of 85.

She was married to the love of her life, Ammon Snow, until his death in 1980.  At that time she moved to Chickasha to be near her daughter and son.  She worked for the Chickasha Department of Human Services until her retirement in 1996. 
After retirement, she became a dedicated volunteer for the Emergency Food Pantry and was also coordinator for the volunteers. 
Edna was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, in Chickasha, and in later years attended Central Assembly of God Church. 
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ammon, a brother, Othor Brooks and an infant brother.

She is survived by her two children: Joyce Sanders and her husband, Howard Larry Snow and his wife, Carla; two sisters:  Ruth Wiley and Louise Bacorn and her husband, Vernon; grandchildren: Stacey Brown; Allison Magdellini and her husband, Justin; Jacob Sanders and his wife, Holley; and Daniel Sanders; great grandchildren: Dylan Maddellini, Mia Magdellini and Brady Sanders

She also leaves behind other family including many nieces, nephews and cousins and many friends. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Interment will be held at Butler Cemetery, Lane OK at 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Chickasha, OK
