Funeral service for Clifford Wayne Nath, age 78 of Anadarko, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2014, in the Verden First Baptist Church. Rev. Troy Taylor will officiate.

Clifford was born the son of John Nath and Mildred Lair Nath on January 10, 1936 in Anadarko. He died on March 16, 2014 in The Woodlands, Texas.

Clifford graduated from Verden High School in 1954. After graduation, he joined the United States Air Force and served from 1954-1957. He married Rosalee Finley in 1957. Clifford was a cattle rancher and farmer for Wheeler Polled Hereford Farms for thirty years until he retired in 1996. He loved golfing, fishing and wood working.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalee; son, Bart Nath; parents, John and Mildred Nath; sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Bill Berry; parents-in-law, Fay and Aubrey Finley; four brothers-in-law, Andrew Handke, Max Upchurch, Keith Finley and Ansel Finley.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Bret and Gail Nath; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Rob Ball; daughter-in-law, Carrie Nath; grandchildren, Brook Nath, Candace Green, Courtney Otey, Britt Williams, Tracie Hart, Patricia Williams, Morganne Arterberry, Tara Nath, Jacob Parrott, Nathan Nath, Breanna Nath, and Ian Nath; 14 great-grandchildren; brother and wife, Clyde and Pauline Nath; sister, Helen Handke; sister-in-law, Sue Upchurch; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Interment will be in the El Reno Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
