Graveside service for Randell Evan “Randy” Kerr, 51, Chickasha, will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012 at the Cement Cemetery with Rev. John Zwolle, pastor of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Cement, and John Kerr, retired Baptist minister, Sterling, officiating.

Mr. Kerr died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 in Chickasha.

Burial will be in the Cement Cemetery, under the direction of Becker Cement Chapel.

He was born July 8, 1961 in Oklahoma City to Anthony Derrell and Linda Marie (Lankister) Kerr.  Randy grew up in the home of his maternal grandparents, Jasper and Vera Lankister at Cement.  He graduated from Cement High School in 1979.  He worked at TP Oilfield and C&C Oilfield Services in Cement.  Later he worked at Con-Agra and Port of Catoosa.  While living in Catoosa, he had to retire due to health problems.  He enjoyed fishing and watching OU Football games and Thunder Basketball games.  He enjoyed spending time with his family.  He had been saved at Southern Hills Baptist Church in Chickasha.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Derrell and Carol Kerr of Rush Springs, a brother, Jack Kerr of Cement, a half brother Warren Kerr, two half sisters, Beverly Kerr and Ruth Mullar all of Rush Springs, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, including two special nieces, Malissa Kerr of Cement and Kristi Kerr of Inola, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Kerr, grandparents, Jasper and Vera Lankister and Carlton and Ruth Kerr.
