Memorial service for Tracy Linn Simmons, age 49 of Chickasha, will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013 at Life Journey Church in Cement.

Tracy Linn Simmons was born the son of Jed Ruffus Simmons and Linda Eaton Simmons on Oct. 3, 1964 in Oklahoma City. He died on Oct. 23, 2013 in Chickasha.

Tracy grew up in Moore and moved to the Pioneer area at the age of 15 where he lived all of his adult life. He worked in the oilfield operating a backhoe and driving a dump truck. In his spare time, he was an outdoorsman that loved to fish and hunt. He also loved being a grandparent.

He was preceded in death by his father Jed Simmons and his sister Rita Kinchen.

He is survived by his wife Jamie Sanders; son Andrew Simmons; daughter Cassie Atkinson; son Johnny Simmons; stepson Terrance Sanders; mother Linda Simmons; sisters Rhonda Sweet and Staci Long; brother Dustin Simmons and nine grandchildren.

Private interment will be held in the Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.
