Aileen Elizabeth Wilson, 77,a longtime resident of Stephens County,  peacefully passed away early Tuesday morning, April 10, 2012 at Duncan Regional Hospital and was joyfully reunited with her husband of 55 years, J.R.   A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 14th at 1 p.m. at Corum Baptist Church, with Bro. Bruce Humphries officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Thursday 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. , Friday, 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6 until 7.

Aileen was born Feb. 11, 1935 at Oklahoma City  to Lucian H. and Edna Pearlee (Christian) Bramlett.  She and J.R. Wilson were united in marriage on Sept. 5, 1953 in Oklahoma City.  They had made their home there until 1995 when they moved to Hastings.

Aileen, or “Meme” as she was lovingly known, loved all kind of music, dancing, and spending time with all of her family, including her faithful dog, “Ginger”.

Survivors include a son, Steve Wilson and wife Elaine, Chickasha; a daughter, Jana Walden, Hastings; five grandsons: Jayson Robert Wilson and wife Kris, Chickasha, Jeffery Cole Wilson and wife Audrie, Duncan, J. Ryan Walden and wife Ashley, Hastings, Shawn Walden, Hastings,  and Michael R. Walden and wife Jonna, Bentonville, Ark.; two step-granddaughters: Trisha Smith and Malinda Smith;  eight great-grandchildren: J. Ryley, Avery, Karson, Brooklynn, Julia, Olivia, Danielle, and Luke; and two sisters-in-law: Marie Smith, Kay Lundy; and a brother-in-law,  Jimmy Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband  J.R., in 2009; her parents; two brothers: Ray Bramlett, and Bill Bramlett; and two sisters: Loretta Tilson, and Betty Van Dyke.
