May 10, 1964 - April 7,  2012

A memorial service for lifelong Alex resident Donna Maxine Davis, 47, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Alex Southern Baptist Church. Mrs. Davis died April 7.

She was born May 10, 1964 and graduated from Alex High School in 1982. She was a member of Grady County first responders. Mrs. Davis loved her family and friends and her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Clifton and Katie Black.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Davis, of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law: Chrystal and Kevin Cook of Chickasha and Amanda and Mike Chambers of Verden; four sons and daughters-in-law: Colton and Summer Sanders, Colby and Morgan Sanders, James and Stephanie Davis and Shane and Ashlea Davis, all of Alex; her mothers, Maxine Mowdy and Ginger Hebb, both of Chickasha; a brother, Jeff McClimans of Chickasha; a sister and brother-in-law, Dee and Darren Long of Alex; two step-sisters and their spouses: Charlet and Eddie Penney of Alex and Jeanne and Tommy Guffee of Beaver; two step-brothers and spouse: Don Mowdy of Chickasha and Mike and Diane Mowdy of Ada; her grandchildren: Brandon Davis, Ashlie Davis, Lanie Davis, Jayson Davis, Bella Davis, Izzy Davis, Hunter Davis, Braylyn Cook, Kiya Cook, Tatum Sanders, Memphis Sanders, Stormi Sanders, Ha’leigh Chambers, Delaney Chambers, Easton Chambers; special best friends Tammy Flint, Christy Kemp and Tommy Johnson, all of Alex; and numerous nieces and nephews.
