— Judith Ann “Judy” Howell

Funeral services will be held for Judith Ann Howell, 73, of Chickasha, at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 11, 2013, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rockford Johnson officiating.

Judy Howell was born in Guthrie, Oklahoma on March 12, 1939, the daughter of Gerald and Thelma Bragg Peterson. She died on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, in Norman.

Judy grew up in Guthrie and graduated from Guthrie High School in 1957. After graduating high school she attended OCU for several years.

After college Judy married Terry Howell December 12, 1964. Most of Judy’s younger years she was a home maker.

She came to Chickasha in 1976, and was employed with Chickasha Senior Nutrition Center as the manager for 22 years retiring in 2005.

She loved to play bridge, cook, and cross stich. She was also a charter member of P.E.O. Chapter F. V. and G.Z. and also a former member of Altrusa and longtime member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Chickasha.  

She was preceded in death by: both parents and infant brother David Peterson.

Survivors include: daughter; Jennifer Seibold, and three grandchildren; Shelbie, Sheldon, and Summer Seibold all of Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
