Graveside service for Leta Othelia Jones, age 92 of Ninnekah, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at the Ninnekah Cemetery. Jack Jerman will officiate.

Mattie Leta Othelia was born on January 25, 1921 the daughter of John Bethel Loveless and Willie Elvie Kendrick Loveless in Chillocothe, Texas. She passed from this life on Jan. 7, 2014 in Chickasha.

Leta moved to Oklahoma in 1936 to the Kechi community with her family and lived there until her death. She attended school at Kechi and Cement. She met and married Ontie Jones on Oct. 28, 1939 in Chickasha. Leta was a member of the Rush Springs Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ontie Jones on July 30, 1995; parents, John and Willie Loveless; four sisters, Zada Huckabay, Mary Ella Bailey, Lola Ball and Merrell Dean Reed; four brothers, Raymond Loveless, James (Jim) Aubry Loveless, Albert Loveless and Cubie Loveless, Sr..

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Oneta and Richard Bennett, Beaulah and Dale Pope both of Ninnekah; five grandchildren and spouses, Rhonda and Joel Suddath of Bridge Creek, Leta and Jim Pruitt of Chickasha, Kendra and Glendon Brantley of Sterling, Richard (Rick), and Rhonda Bennett of Anadarko, Michelle Watson of Ninnekah; 12 great-grandchildren, Tiffany Melton, Galen, Kayla, Katie, and Kacie Brantley, Lindsay, Leslie, Loren and Rylea Bennett, Michael and Mariah Watson and Jay Pruitt; one sister, Dorthy Dell Fielding of Chickasha; host of nieces, nephews, and many many friends.

Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
