— J.W. Hobbs

Memorial services for J.W. Hobbs will be Saturday, December 28, 2013, noon at the McLish Avenue Church of Christ with Cody Westbrook officiating. Interment will be at 3:00 P.M. at the Marlow Cemetery. J.W. was born to Rufus McDaniel Hobbs and Ada Arnold Hobbs. He passed from this life on December 25, 2013 at the age of 87. He married Mildred McCasters on January 18, 1948. She passed from this life on December 9, 1995. He later married Edith Jackson in 1988. J.W. was the founder of the Chickasha Antique Auto Club, he loved drag racing, gardening, especially growing it and giving it all away, and collecting all models of cars. J.W. is survived by his wife Edith Jackson; daughter Rosalie Whatley; granddaughter Belynn Whatley; grandson Trey Whatley; great grandsons Braxton Whatley, Hobbs Whatley; great grandaughter Elle Whatley. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Giles, Lovell Hughes, Tom Matlock, and Michale Haggard. Online condolences may be
