Bobby J. Wheeler

— Bobby J. Wheeler

Memorial service for Bobby J. Wheeler will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 in the Cowboy Country Church, 4092 Norge Road in Chickasha.

Bob was born Aug. 26, 1931 and died Dec. 3, 2013. He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was an aircraft mechanic for American Dusting Company in Chickasha for several years while he obtained his commercial pilot's license. He then started Bob Wheeler Spraying in Eakly. When Bob retired from crop dusting, he and his wife, Johnna moved back to Chickasha to be closer to family.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents: Al Wheeler and Genieva Hurts; two sisters: Edna Schilling and Juanita Knight; a brother: Charley Wheeler; son-in-law Thomas Walker Bentley and great-grandchild, Baby Dagan.

His survivors include his wife, Sue Johnna Wheeler of the home; two daughters: Patti Howell and husband Butch of Pocasset and Jana Stewart and husband Tim of Rush Springs; three grandchildren: Amber Bentley, Cody Bentley and Matthew Bentley; four great-grandchildren: Tyler, Ciara, Mason and Kenzlie; a sister: Judy Burt;  two brothers: Danny Wheeler and Jimmy Wheeler; and many more relatives too numerous to mention, whom he loved dearly.
