July 12, 1982 – April 4, 2013

Stephenville - Services for James Preston Banks II, 30, fourth generation hayman, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013, at Lacy Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Macklin officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Lacy Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

James was born in Fort Worth, TX on July 12, 1982 to Glenn and Monica Banks. He married Courtney Mankin on June 5, 2010 in Comanche, TX.

Survivors include his wife, Courtney Banks of Stephenville, TX; father, Glenn Banks of Dublin, TX; daughter, Hallie Banks of Stephenville, TX; son, Samson Banks of Stephenville, TX; five sisters, Kendra Macon of Destin, FL, Kristi Allison of Lampasas, TX, Misty Macon of Sweeney , TX, Megan Banks of Fayetteville, AK, and Michelle Banks of Arlington, TX; brother, Chad Ramsey of Gainesville, TX; father and mother in law, Mike and Tracy Mankin of Comanche, TX; and one brother in law Shannon Mankin of Comanche, TX.

He was preceded in death by his mother Monica Banks on October 20, 2010.
