Graveside service for Walter Douglas Frasure, 87, of Carthage, Missouri will be held on Wednesday, Oct 2, 2013 in Dudman Cemetery in Carthage, Missouri at 6 p.m.

Walter was a member of the U.S. Navy and worked for Albertson's Grocery Stores in Joplin, Missouri and Gallup, New Mexico for 35 years.

Walter Douglas Frasure was born Sept. 24, 1925 in Ninnekah, the son of Claude and Annie Frasure. He passed away on Sept. 26, 2013 in Carthage.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Claude and Annie Frasure, two brothers: Harold Leroy and Henry Bennett.

He is survived by his children: Shirley and Tim Hensley of Carthage, Earl Sullivan of Chickasha, Hal and Gloria Cloughley of Gallup, NM; three sisters: Inez Jones of Hereford, Texas, Fredda Lancaster of Chickasha, Fleta Parker, Dalhart, Texas, and Flora Frasure of Chickasha; a sister-in-law Marilyn Frasure of Portola, Calif.; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
