Funeral services for Clarsey Lee Chambers, of Alex, will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014 at the Main Street Church of Christ, Alex.

Clarsey Lee Chambers was born Dec. 10, 1929 in Pocasset, to Roy Lee and Anna Bertha (Klippel) Mason.  She passed away on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014 in Blanchard, at the age of 84.

Mrs. Chambers lived in the Alex area for many years.  She married Albert Chambers, on June 28, 1947 in Chickasha.  They moved to Plainview, Texas in the late 40’s and loved back to Alex in the 1950’s.  She and her husband farmed in the Alex and Bradley area.

She enjoyed several hobbies which included canning, crocheting and quilting.

She was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ of Alex.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Bobby Dwayne Chambers; a daughter, Martha Louise Manning; a half-brother, George White and a granddaughter, Malia Anjenetta Chambers.

Mrs. Chambers is survived by her husband, Albert Chambers; son, Albert Ray Chambers and his wife, Dina; 3 sisters:  Doshey Dennis, Anna Jean Smith and Sue Hatchett; 2 brothers:  Charles Mason and Darrell Mason; 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery of Rush Springs, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Chickasha, OK.
