Gerald Wayne Hartsburg

— Funeral services for Gerald Wayne Hartsburg, 64, of Chickasha, was held at 4 p.m. on Monday, July 22, 2013, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Lynn Walker officiating.

Gerald Wayne Hartsburg was born the son of Delbert Hartsburg and Myrtle (Joan) Hill-Hartsburg-Pollard in Phoenix, Ariz. on May 21, 1949. He died on July 19, 2013 in Oklahoma City.

Gary married Robin Israel in 1967 in Phoenix, Ariz.. They had one son together whom they raised jointly.

In 1978 he settled in Chickasha. There he met Carolyn Jaques (Bridge); they were married on June 21, 1979, and had a beautiful family together.

Gary graduated college with a degree in Business from USAO.

Gary then met and married Ann Robinson on May 8, 1989. He shared the rest of his life with her making great memories.

Gary was an entertainer, he loved for people to smile, laugh and have a great time. He was an avid storyteller. Making memories was everything to him.  

Gary was employed by the Department of Human Services for the past 24 years where he was deeply loved. He was also able to accept the role as President of the Eagles Lodge where he had an opportunity to help with the community in many ways.

Preceded in death by: parents; Delbert Hartsburg and Myrtle (Joan) Hill-Hartsburg-Pollard, brother; Donald Hartsburg, daughter; Vanessa Hartsburg.

Survivors include: wife, Ann Hartsburg of the home; siblings, Terry Hartsburg of Phoenix, Ariz., Debbie Dale of Franklin, Ind., Glen Pollard Los Angeles, Calif., Glenda Pollard-Hunt of Blooming Grove, Texas, and Jim Pollard of Springdale, AR; son, Eric & Diem Hartsburg of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughters, Jessica Hartsburg-Graham & Chris George of Chickasha and Crystal Hartsburg & Adrian Lajas of Cleveland, Tenn.; step-daughter, Lisa Robinson of Chickasha; seven grandchildren, Alysia, Brooke, Halee, Devin, Ella, Alayna and Alexandre; along with nieces, nephews, other family and friends that he loved dearly.

Services and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

    A come and go ‘Celebration of Life’ will be held for Jacqueline Ann Bohannon, 77, of Duncan, Oklahoma on Saturday, May 3rd at the Southern Oaks Church of Christ in Chickasha from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.  Jackie was born June 18, 1936 in Allen, Oklahoma to the parents of Harold and Bea Hammonds.  She passed from this life to be with her Lord on April 10, 2014 after a prolonged illness.

    Clifford Franklin Williams, 98, of Minco was born November 6, 1915 at Minco, Oklahoma to Claude Custer and Viola Pearl (Pettis) Williams. He died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at his home in Minco, Oklahoma.
        Services will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014, 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Minco. Reverend Bob Waitman and Reverend Bob Hines officiating. Burial, Evergreen Cemetery of Minco, Oklahoma under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco.

    Funeral for Reva Mae Burlison,88, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, in the Southern Oaks Church of Christ. Andy Lashley will officiate and Brian Johnson will assist.
    Reva Mae Royal was the 7th of 9 children, born to Walter Scott Royal Sr. and Nellie Speer Royal. She was born in rural Harmon County, near Hollis, Oklahoma on September 23, 1925. She passed away on April 16, 2014, in Chickasha.
