Norma Jean Norrell
Funeral service for Norma Jean Norrell, 81, of Chickasha, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at the First Baptist Church of Fletcher, with the Rev. Rodney Campbell, pastor, officiating.
Mrs. Norrell passed away on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, in Oklahoma City.
Burial will be in the Fletcher Cemetery under the direction of Fletcher Funeral Home.
She was born on Nov. 5, 1931, in Cache, to James and Grace Bennett Watts. She married Charles Norrell on April 7, 1951. Norma worked for many years at Verden Elementary School. She loved to read and take care of her many plants and ornaments in her yard. Her favorite TV show, Dancing with The Stars, always made her wish she could dance like them.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Bridges, brothers, Glen Watts, Buford Watts, Richard Watts, and J.R. Watts.
She leaves behind to remember her, husband Charles Norrell, children, Ramona Harmon and husband, Larry, of Blanchard, Debi Bell and husband, Eddie, of Anadarko, Brenda Williams and husband, Don, of Alex, and son, Jeff Norrell of the home, as well as eight grandchildren, Michelle Woolworth, Jeremy Bell, Kelly Slattery, Taylor Dudley, Jesse Sites, Christopher Matthews, Chance Norrell, Courtney Norrell, three great-grandchildren, Brooke Woolworth, Haley Woolworth, and Morgan Woolworth, two great-great-grandchildren, Carson Fulton and Creed Fulton; two sisters, Barbara Holden and Doris Holden, both of Fletcher, and numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Viewing will be held at the Fletcher Funeral Home from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013.
