— Gary L. Cook

Visitation Service with family and friends for Gary L. Cook, 56, of Chickasha, will be held Friday, Jan. 18, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Ferguson Funeral Home.

Gary Cook was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma, on Jan. 12, 1957, the son of Thomas J. Cook and Marcella McCrea. He died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2012, in Chickasha.

Gary was born and grew up in Chickasha. He graduated from Chickasha High School in 1975. Gary enjoyed playing golf and drag racing in his spare time. After graduating he became employed with the Dr Pepper Bottling Plant in Chickasha, where he worked for over 20 years. He later owned and operated a convenience store west of Chickasha.

He was preceded in death by: his father Thomas J. Cook and sister Marsha Camp.

Survivors include: daughter Tiffany and Scotty Wright of Chickasha; two grandchildren, Harleigh and Scout Wright, both of Chickasha; mother; Marcella Cook of Chickasha; two brothers, Thomas and Darla Cook of Chandler, Ariz. and Bill and Kathy Cook of Terrell, Texas; and sister Carol and Randell Sellers of Lawton.

Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home
