Funeral services for Betty Jo Chambers, 84, Cement, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 in the Becker Funeral Home of Fletcher Chapel with Ezell Nelson, Pastor, New Life Christian Church, Chickasha, officiating.

Mrs. Chambers died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 in a Chickasha nursing home.

Burial will be in the Cement Cemetery under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Fletcher.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Chambers was born Oct. 22, 1927 in Cement to Jett and Thelma (Spencer) Jones. She graduated from Fletcher High School with the class of 1946. She was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone as an operator until her marriage. She married J.W. “Curley” Chambers on April 12, 1948 in Wichita Falls. He died March 16, 2011. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Cement where she taught Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Chambers was a homemaker, mother and helper to her husband on the family farm.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Belinda and Gary Hollars of Elgin and Teresa and Wayman Fulton of Chickasha; four grandchildren and their spouses, Gary W. and Amanda Hollars, Aaron Hollars, Matthew and Deborah Fulton, and Andrea and Brent Wray; seven great grandchildren, Noah and Gavin Hollars, Madeline and Zachary Fulton, Whitley, Chasey James and Delaney Jo Wray; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Her parents and siblings preceded her in death.
