Our beloved Jean Judd, of Lubbock went to be with the Lord on March 31, 2014.  She was born on Nov. 10, 1929 to the late Ollie and Laura Lewis in Morrilton, Arkansas.  Jean married Auther Judd on June 29, 1944 in Hawkins, Oklahoma.  As a pastor’s wife and sharing in ministry, Jean was active in the Church of Christ as a leader of Women’s Bible Study along with leading other groups and raising four children.  Jean enjoyed reading; she was an excellent seamstress and cook.

Along with her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Auther on May 21, 1987 and all six of her siblings.

Survivors include four children, Corky Judd and wife Pam Maggio of Albuquerque, NM, Dianne Judd of Phoenix, Arizona, Kim Judd of Lubbock and Jay Judd of Tigard, Oregon; 5 grandchildren, Amy Forman and husband Kirk of Phoenix, Molly Gallegos and husband Albee of Albuquerque, Maggie Judd, Ethan Judd and Jake Judd all of Tigard and four great grandchildren.

Committal services were held at 9:45 MST Friday, April 4, 2014 in the Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM where she will be laid to rest by her husband.  Local arrangements under the direction of Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers,
